Guest Blogger Matching Service for Busy Bloggers

Guest Blogger Matching Service

Darn! Guest-Blogger.com domain registrants have beat me into getting that domain name:

Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. (http://www.godaddy.com)
Domain Name: GUEST-BLOGGER.COM
Created on: 27-May-07

Setting up a site mainly to match guest bloggers to those people with blogs but can’t maintain it for a while was my goal for that domain name. But I told myself that if it’s no longer available, then I guess that won’t take off.

And just today, I saw from Darren Rowse’s speed linking post that there’s actually now a service offering just that! It’s objective is to not pose a solution to those who are unable to continue maintaining their blogs for quite some time but to also increase the popularity of those who will be tasked to do some guest blogging.

Is it a paid guest blogging matching service? Not yet. But I think this service will become a very lucrative business if the management plays their card right. I suggest that they take in ghost bloggers, too. Aherm!

You will then have consumed time and money in making a website that may potentially make little or no impact in the thousands of other websites now on the Internet. Your aim to earn money, therefore, can fail without the proper website.

But do you truly need a website to succeed financially online? With the advent of Web 2.0 and a more interactive Internet, you can earn money without having to put up a site. Here are ten ways by which you can stuff your bank account solid, ok maybe just some extra dough, with little HTML savvy.

Verisign, the company tasked to take care of the .com and .net top level domain names has announced the increase of the registry fee of these domain names by October 15, 2007.

By how much with the domain name registration fees increase?

.com domains - from $6.00 to $6.42

.net domains - from $3.50 to $3.85

The increase is said to be due to the upgrade of the DNS (Domain Name Systems) and to install infrastructure that would help prevent cyberattacks. Read Verisign’s press release.
